TERMS
Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By accessing or using RepoGEO’s websites, APIs, or paid features, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service does
RepoGEO helps you understand how a public software repository may be represented in generative AI assistants, using reproducible prompts and public information. Analysis is limited to repositories and URLs you submit that are intended to be public. We do not promise access to non-public or login-gated data.
Reports are informational and operational—they are not legal, financial, securities, or professional advice.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the service to harass people, impersonate others, violate GitHub’s or another platform’s terms, attempt to break rate limits or security controls, scrape the service in bulk without permission, or generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content at scale.
We may suspend or terminate access for material violations or risk to the platform, subject to any refund rights required by law or your payment provider’s rules.
4. Accounts, subscriptions, and payments
Some features require an account or paid plan. Fees, billing cycles, taxes, and plan limits are shown at purchase and may change for new purchases with notice.
Refunds, chargebacks, upgrades, and downgrades are handled according to the rules of the payment processor you used (for example Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or PayPal) and any checkout terms presented at the time of purchase. Those checkout terms are part of your agreement for paid services.
5. Third-party trademarks and platforms
GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc. RepoGEO is independent and not endorsed by or affiliated with GitHub. Your use of GitHub remains governed by GitHub’s own terms and policies.
Other names and logos may be trademarks of their respective owners.
6. Intellectual property and feedback
We own the software, branding, and curated report formats, subject to open-source licenses where we distribute components under those licenses. You retain rights in your own content; you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the service you request.
If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them without restriction or royalty, except where prohibited by law.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI models can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. Rankings and scores reflect a point-in-time evaluation and may change when models or the underlying public data change.
We disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither RepoGEO nor its suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in that period or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where mandatory consumer law in your country does not allow such a cap.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify RepoGEO and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content (except to the extent caused by our processing in breach of this agreement), or your violation of law or third-party rights, subject to our prompt notice and reasonable cooperation.
10. Governing law and disputes
For business customers, governing law, venue, and dispute resolution may also be stated in an order form or checkout terms. Where no separate terms apply, the governing law and courts will be those stated at checkout for your transaction, or otherwise the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another country’s laws.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable mandatory consumer protection laws give you as an individual.
11. Changes and contact
We may modify these terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for non-material changes; for material changes to paid plans, we will use reasonable notice consistent with law and your contract.
Questions about these terms should be sent through the same contact channel described in the Privacy Policy.
